Allie Penny grew up outside Memphis and spent 37 years in Tennessee. Then God opened a door — a job in Florida, childhood friends who’d already made the move, and a realtor named Shawna Leonard who turned out to be more than just a business connection.
How She Found F3
Allie came to St. Johns County as a lender. She met Shawna through mutual friends, they started working together, and somewhere along the way the relationship stopped being about business and started being about life.
Shawna introduced her to the rest of the F3 team. After a couple of years of doing deals together and doing life together, something became obvious: these were her people. Faith, family, and freedom aren’t marketing words at F3 — and Allie had seen enough real estate teams to know the difference.
Life in St. Johns County
Moving from Tennessee to Florida was a leap. But her family fell in love fast. More time outside, a great place to raise kids, and everyday life that somehow feels a little like being on vacation.
Her favorite thing about living here might surprise you: the cool mornings. Give her a cup of coffee and a walk outside and she’s set. Being able to do that nearly year-round is one of those small things she genuinely doesn’t take for granted. The beach doesn’t hurt either.
Her People
Allie is married to Scott, who she’ll tell you without hesitation is the most amazing man. They have two kids — Lily and Corbin — growing up way too fast. They homeschool through a co-op in Nocatee, love to travel, and have somehow convinced themselves that living here already feels like being on vacation most of the time.
Faith anchors everything. They love their church community and support Isaiah 1:17 House and First Coast Women’s Services. At home you’ll find Tennessee football, country music, family jam sessions, and a cruise on the calendar whenever they can manage it.
A Southern Girl at Heart
Tennessee will always have part of her. She’ll probably never fully lose the accent either.
Allie is an extrovert who genuinely loves people — loves connecting them, loves thinking outside the box, loves figuring out how to make a deal work when there doesn’t seem to be a path. That’s what she brings to every transaction. That, and a team she actually trusts.
There’s also a dachshund in the house who is fully convinced she’s royalty. Nobody’s correcting her.
