Riverside Homes in St. Johns County
A locally owned Jacksonville builder with both community and fully custom divisions.
About Riverside Homes
Riverside Homes is a locally owned Jacksonville homebuilder led by owners Matt Roberts and Chris Wood, built around a relationship-driven, service-first reputation rather than national-builder scale. That local ownership shows up in community involvement — Riverside has been named a Jacksonville Magazine “Company with Heart” four years running.
The builder runs two distinct divisions. Riverside Homes builds semi-custom floor plans within established communities, while Riverside Homes Custom is a luxury division that builds fully bespoke homes on a buyer’s own lot. Riverside Homes Custom is a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program and built the 2019 Southern Living Idea House on Crane Island — a national showcase home — along with multiple Best of Houzz awards for design and customer service.
In St. Johns County specifically, Riverside builds in SilverLeaf, a large no-CDD master plan, and at RiverTown, the St. Johns River waterfront community, where it has offered custom riverfront lots with private boat slip access. It has also built sections in Nocatee, the top-selling master plan straddling the Ponte Vedra and St. Johns line.

Why Buyers Consider Riverside Homes
Locally Owned
A Jacksonville-based builder with local decision-makers, not a national call center.
Southern Living Pedigree
Riverside Homes Custom built the 2019 Southern Living Idea House and holds multiple Best of Houzz awards.
Two Paths to a Home
Choose a semi-custom plan in an established community, or go fully custom on your own lot.
Considering a Riverside Homes Build?
Custom builds in particular involve a very different contract and timeline than a standard community home. Josh Rogers and the F3 Home Team help St. Johns County buyers navigate either path — at no cost to you, since the builder pays the buyer’s agent commission.
