Austin knows what it feels like to move somewhere new because he’s done it more than once, including across borders. Originally from Canada, he was living in Botswana with his wife, AnnMarie, and their two young children when they decided St. Johns County offered the schools and community they were looking for. They discovered Nocatee and built a home from Africa.
How He Found F3
Their experience with their agent wasn’t great, and that move became a big reason Austin entered real estate. He wanted to be the agent his family needed and didn’t have.
Austin later met Josh through AnnMarie, who trained at the gym where Josh worked. A coffee conversation made it clear that F3 was a natural fit. Faith, freedom, and family weren’t just words. The team cared about coaching, growing together, and building businesses and families around a higher purpose.
His Story
Austin knows relocation from the inside. His path has taken him from Canada to Botswana and eventually to St. Johns County, where he and his family built a life rooted in the kind of schools, community, and long-term opportunity they were looking for.
He has now lived in both Nocatee and Beacon Lake and spends a lot of time paying attention to how St. Johns County is growing and changing. He’s thankful for the life his family has built here and usually believes there’s a win-win if people are willing to look for it.
His Family
AnnMarie is a life coach who helps women in midlife. Their daughter, Savannah, is a senior at SCAD, and their son, Luke, attends Appalachian State University.
The family attends Christ Church East PCA and supports Christian work in the U.S. and overseas through their family foundation.
Why He Loves This Area
Austin loves that St. Johns County can’t be reduced to one thing. There are beaches, rivers, trails, history, older neighborhoods, new communities, and plenty of local businesses worth discovering.
He’s also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, a hiking enthusiast, and a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, which may be the best evidence of his natural optimism.
